Our story begins all the way back to May 3rd, 1997.  Matt and I were introduced two months earlier at Benet Academy, where Matt attended high school.  We both had the dilemma of having to find dates for our senior proms.  We met and it was not love at first sight, like everyone thinks. We had our doubts about each other but didn't care, we needed dates to prom.  For the next two months we went on dates and began to bond.  On the night of my prom Matt asked me to be his girlfriend.

We both graduated and had a wonderful summer together.  Then Fall came and Matt was off to college in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  I missed him a lot but visited him every weekend.  After a year of dating I decided to move to Milwaukee to start college and to be closer to him.  We had a wonderful three years in the cold weather.  :) After Matt graduated from Marquette he had decided that he wanted to attend graduate school in sunny Hawaii.  He told me to apply to schools in Hawaii, because we were moving.  I was so excited.

July of 2001 we packed our bags and moved to Hawaii.  We adjusted and made a lot of friends.  In August of 2003 Matt took me to Kauai for the weekend.  There on the beach he proposed to me under the moonlight.  I cried and cried and I really could not tell you what he was saying but I said yes.  It was all very exciting.

We are so happy and can not wait for June to come.  Not only to get married but to see all of our friends and family that we haven't seen in so long.  We miss all of you.
