Instructions:

1.  Login to UNIX, and write a program to do the following:

• Read two sentences from the keyboard, namely sentence A and sentence B.
• Print sentence A, All in upper case letters (toUpperCase method)
• Print sentence B, All in lower case (toLowerCase method)
• Print the Concatenation of the original sentence A with itself in upper case.  To do this, you'll have to store the upper-cased 'A' sentence into a String.  Then you can concatenate the two sentences (sentence A and upper-cased sentence A)
• Print the concatenation of sentence B with sentence A.
• Trim original sentence A and then print its length.
• Trim lower-case sentence B and then print its length.

Print a message (for each bullet point above) to let us know what you are printing. For example:

• System.out.println( "Sentence A, all un upper case letters is: " + sentenceA);

2.  Attach the file (.java) to an e-mail in Pine (Getting Started with Pine, PDF) and send the file to the ics111-lab@hawaii.edu account.

• control <J>, then control <T>allows you to browse and pick the file that you wish to attach

3.  Check the webpage to make sure that the e-mail arrived.  Here is the URL:

4.  Once I (TA) get the e-mail in my account AND I can verify it on the web, you will receive your lab participation point.
